Malia & Sasha Obama by Fania Simon

Swearing
in a Blossom Dream ,
"I've never seen spirits like this
before."
Historic to depths in all aspect
of time, this time,
Unlike other times before, the
view from this whistle stop train is geographically
black-white,
Hastily, taking me to the
inaugurating time of the African son,
Standing in transition of time, answering a spiritual
call, a momentum inside the Northern Capitol door.
O' service I call, even in a
crystal ball! Be the
people, parading devotion and stability from fall!
Be and proudly, cheerfully filled. Be the reflection
from the
vision's will.
For I am only with purpose, and
by the Lincoln Bible, I swear:
I write poetry and I stand, stand, stand with him.

Two Brothers:
One Hussein is long gone
While the other Hussein kindly
rose to world power
A stranger stepped to face
infinity
Sickness in the same land belonging to the snow, or
to the sun above
A place hot or cold under the
powerful sky
where the spirit of the first Hussein died and died
and died.

The
Speech of President-Elect Barack Hussein Obama

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." ~ Martin Luther King
"You're not to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face
reality.
Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it." ~ Malcolm X
"If ignorance does not hurt the world,
why are we "living" in this world
with so much pain?" ~ fania simon

"Indeed voting did
make me feel big and powerful because I helped changed
history!!!" ~ fania simon
THANK GOD FOR OUR 44th. PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA...
THE WORLD IS WATCHING YOU MAKE HISTORY!
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
No one and
nothing can change God's plan except God!
"Yes we
can and we did!
In 1803-1804
Right on this Western continent, in (Central) America
Or call it "Caribbean" (your pick).
We did it!
We created a first black republic,
by revolting over and over again,
We did it until destiny was free
To spark freedom until colors from aboard ran free to
liberty.
Yes we can and we did!
From the Civil rights movement of Martin L. King
To the "Islamic movement" of Malcolm X
We held lessons of Marcus Garvey,
And Lumumba South Africa, and produced more room for
Mandela...
Yes we can! And we did!
But then, we kept the main thing, the main thing.
From the door of no return,
Africa's children reached the entrance door of hell!
Dead or alive, we fought verses from the plantation's chapters...
Books to break the Willy Lynch's chains from feet to
neck.
And then suddenly...
Came the Bright Morning Victory of Obama
Our 44th. BLACK PRESIDENT of the United States in time ...
O' yes! With
PRESIDENT, BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA!!!
We shout:
Yes we can! And we did!
Hence, let me gather myself like i gather past
memories
Let me open my lungs wide... like I open my arms wide
Like the Caribbean sea
and the world to rest.
Let me BE CLEAR and chant our sown victory song
YES, WE CAN! WE ALL CAN!
For victory of change is not just US American
But victory and change are for all citizens of the
world,
Equal life for all who claim change!
So come on family and shout:
Yes, we can! And we did!
The whole world can! "
~ fania simon

Move! Move!
Don't stop!
You can't stop!
For this is the continuation of a movement
Like natural law responding to the breath
Of The Supernatural Law of God.
Move! Don't stop!
You can't stop!
Move like winter, spring and fall!
Like leaves changing old skin to new skin!
Move!
And change old wine to new wine!
Again, move!
Flavor life in the bottle of conscious, o' "new"
Ideology!
Move! You can't stop!
In the spirit of the movement,
Be born and reborn again
From the blessed seed- Word of Christ!
Move!
Like Moses
Like Toussaint
Like Fidel
Like Martin
Like Garvey
Like Malcolm
Like Jesse
Like Obama
Who moved strong and spiritually spots me
Moving, and holding the spirit of Nzinga
And Tubman
And Betty
And Corretta
And you,
And you
And you...
...moving through the marketplace of death.
Move! You can't stop!
Through windows and doors of confusion,
Gain knowledge of bread and butter to heal a nation
Provide love of God and self
Take complete freedom from death.
Move!
From displacement, from rejection to Salvation.
So
Move! We can't stop here!
For CHANGE is not for just one
CHANGE is not just American
CHANGE is also African
CHANGE is also European
CHANGE is also Asian
CHANGE is for Christians and for non-Christians
CHANGE is for ALL who want to plant the seed of
CHANGE.
Change is for life!

Poem is inspired by the conscious movement of all who seek and fight for
TRUE
LIBERTY!!!
"I hope other countries are taking notes and learning from this historical
moment in time.
CHANGE is never about one person. It is about all of
us.
We all are born with the rights of freedom,
and happiness !!"
